The church is a vessel through which Christ offers Himself to the world.  If that is so, then what is our part in the grand scheme?  What should you or I be doing to fuflfill our part of this work of God?

Like little gods in the world, we have the power to change things.  We can create differences in the world like God does.  After all, we're made in His image.

We are no accident, we were made by design by a God who knows just what the world needs.  Each of us have custom designed talents, passions and abilities that give us direction about what we are made to do in life.

The Apostle Paul said, "the authority that the Lord has given me for building up and not for tearing down." 2Corinthians 13:10. 

We are given freedom in Christ so that we are not dominated by other people or controlled by their desires.

 

Breaking Religion 

Genesis 3:1-15 

Defeating the power of the False Prophet. The Bible says, "If with Christ you died to the elemental spirits of the world, why, as if you were still alive in the world, do you submit to regulations- "Do not handle, Do not taste, Do not touch"...These have indeed an appearance of wisdom in promoting self-made religion ...but they are of no value in stopping the indulgence of the flesh. Col 2:20-23.  Religion is man-centric and ultimately leads to bondage rather than freedom. 

 

Breaking Babylon  

Ephesians 6:19-34  

Defeating the power of Mammon.  Jesus said, "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other.  You cannot serve God and money.  Matthew 6:24.  Money is a terrible master and we need to live free from its corrupting influence on our choices.  

 

 

Breaking Satanic Strongholds 

Ephesians 6:12-17 

Jesus said, "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy." Luke 10:19.  It's time to take the authority we are given and crush the enemies influence on our lives.
